	Lauren Hedgecock - Lead Dental Assistant She’s from High Point, has been in the dental field since September 2007 and joined this practice in June of 2009 with Dr Greg South and then transitioned with Dr Phelps when she bought the practice in 2017. She is married to Michael since May 2008, has two boys Fischer and Fin and a yellow lab named Easton. They are a baseball family and love the beach!

	Teresa Williams - Front Office Coordinator She’s from High Point and has been in the dental field since 1988, first as a dental assistant then as front office manager. She joined Dr. Phelps’s office in 2018. She has been married to her husband Stewart since 1995. She has two daughters, Samantha and Elizabeth. She now also has a granddaughter named Anna. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, reading, traveling and spending time with her family.

	Savanna Leigh - Dental Assistant I’m from Winston Salem. I graduated from Forsyth Tech’s Dental Assisting Program in 2017. I have been with Dr. Phelps since 2018. I have been married to my husband, Kevin, since 2019, we have two sons, Luke and Seth. I enjoy hiking and spending time with my little family.

	Ashley Crist - Full Time Dental Hygienist She’s from Walnut Cove and has been a dental hygienist since 2009. She joined Dr. Phelps’s office in 2022. She has been married to her husband Michael since 2011 and have two daughters, Cali and Chloe. She has also two dogs, and several chickens. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, doing anything outdoors and traveling.

	Ivy Main- Full Time Hygienist Ivy is from Lake Placid, Florida and moved to the Triad because of her great love of the mountains. She graduated for South Florida State College Dental Hygiene program in 2023. She has a cat named Tarzan. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, drawing, baking and spending time with her family.

	Shannon Kirby- DAII/Front Desk Shannon is from Walkertown, NC. She has been a dental assistant since 2005. She stayed at home to raise her babies for about ten years and joined our office in July 2025 to continue her love of the dental field. She lives in Kernersville with her fiancé, William and their 5 children and dog Dolly. In her spare time, you can catch her watching the kid’s sporting events, doing anything outdoors, spending time with family or making mini apple cider donuts.
